Kumo Edge extends active pocket spring support across the entire sleeping surface. Stronger springs are placed around the outer edge, creating a firmer and more stable area for sitting, sleeping and getting out of bed. Unlike a border frame, the reinforced springs continue to respond under pressure while helping the mattress retain its shape over time. This reduces the feeling of roll-off and allows more of the surface to be used comfortably. The spring-based edge also reduces the need for separate foam encasement, simplifying mattress construction.
